Hello!
My name is Gabriel Fontes. I wrote, directed, shot, edited and color graded "Lone Crew".
The project came to be as part of my journey dealing with high intensity anxiety.
The subject of matter is a very close one to me and something I feel it's not nearly discussed enough. I hope the message, that it's ok to talk about it, gets out there as much as possible.
The script was granted partial funding by the Brazilian government on a contest of 1200 short film scripts. We came in second! I funded the majority of the project out of my own pocket. It took me over 2 years to complete the film. A lot of effort was put into it.
I call it my own "Littlelópolis", all my chips are at the table for this one. It involves the work of an amazing cast and crew and it's a true dream come true.
I'm very very proud of what we achieved and it was worth it, every second.
I hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it!
Best,
Gabriel
