Director Biography - Gianluca Vassallo, Francesco Mannironi

Gianluca Vassallo is an Italian director, artist, photographer, activist and founder of “White Box Studio” production company. His work have been exhibited in many museum and gallery including: Fabrica, Treviso (2018, 2019), Foscarini Spazio Brera, Milan (2018) Caleum Gallery, New York (2017); Italian Cultural Institute in Stockholm (2017); Fondazione di Sardegna, Cagliari (2017); Portuguese Pavillon at Biennale Architettura, Venice (2016); Immigrant Museum, Asuni (2019, 2016); Foscarini Spazio Soho, New York (2015, 2016, 2018); Palazzo della Penna, Perugia (2014); Schauwerk Museum, Sindelfingen (2020, 2014, 2014); MAN Musem, Nuoro (2014); Stadtgalerie, Kiel (2014); MART Museum, Rovereto (2012, 2103); PAN, Naples (2010). His short movie “Fare Luce” has been included in the official selection of Milano Design Film Festival, Shanghai Design Film Festival, New York Design Film Festival.
