Director Statement

My name is Jacob. I like to make films, take photos, and design roller coaster theme parks. I also enjoy spending time with my creative, life partner Arianna Tysinger. I’m currently researching and writing a feature film about a vagabond named Clementine Rodeo.

My work is interested in the democratization of filmmaking through technology. I'm working towards a do-it-yourself approach to creation. I also enjoy creating a strong sense of place within my films.

My future vision for filmmaking is to make low-budget films with a high degree of creative freedom. I believe the only failure in art is to not follow your curiosity.
