Experiencing Interruptions?

Kitezh

Video/CG tapestry, generated by GAN [ML model] which was trained on the Russian lacquer miniatures [Palekh, Kholui, etc.].

Essentially, such blatant breeding of the [once omnipresent] archaic traditions with the [now ubiquitous] hi-tech trends makes it double kitsch. Trying to address these antipodal worlds with brute-force approach, it extracts the first substance, which they have in common — the vulgarity — and brings it to the exquisite absurd.
The work is named after the Russian legend about mythical city, which went underwater in the face of conquerors, so that only pure souls could find a way to it ever since.
