My short film was selected in April of last year, but there was never any news of it actually being played. I sent them an email last year, asking if it has been played yet … The reply I received, was it will be played later in the year … Yet until now, my film has never been mentioned to have played at all. No mention of it on their instagram.

We were disappointed to learn that there was a technical issue with the audio when our film was received. Despite our file being intact, a communication breakdown led to this error. We suggest prioritizing improvements in communication within the internal team to ensure that all participants are well-informed. While we were grateful to have our film screened at your festival, we believe that hiring someone with a better understanding of audio systems would greatly benefit all participants.
