I was raised in a family of filmmakers in Australia's capital city, Canberra. From an early age, I participated in many of my parents productions, whether it be in front of the camera or behind.
By the age of 13, I started making my own films, one of my first shorts winning 2 awards and being the youngest ever finalist at the local film festival "Lights! Canberra! Action! picking up Best Student Film and Best Use of Theme.
By Year 11 I was getting my films into Australia-wide film festivals, most notably FlickerFest, STUFFIT and the ATOM Awards.
In September 2014, I had 4 films selected as part of the Canberra Short Film Festival.
Later that year I managed to make my International debut by being selected for the Tall Grass Film Festival in Kansas, USA.
I love making films, in later years I hope to become a successful filmmaker and make movies watched by people all over the world.
I find most of my inspiration from history. I love to look at the past and recreate old stories and events and put them into contemporary settings. My latest film 'King's Cross' is about the the grandchildren of Queen Victoria, most notably King George V (Great Britain) and Kaiser Willhelm II (German Empire) during WWI. It digs deep into the past, whilst putting these characters into a contemporary setting.
King's Cross is one of my most greatest works, and I am incredibly proud of the handwork that my team put into this production. We made this in 2 days despite having to deal with so much hardship (rain, actors getting lost or not showing up, car accidents and the microphone not recording sound) - Murphy's Law.
