ingrID
Ingrid has always been plagued by visions of the past. But what if our demons never truly leave us? The first chapter of "The Woe Land Saga", a new original film series from City M Productions that challenges the boundaries between the psyche, the supernatural, and the world we inhabit, 'ingrID' tells the story of a couple (Ingrid and Charlotte) trying to overcome domestic discourse under the umbrella of a threat they cannot begin to comprehend.
Raw, pitch-black, and swirling with emotion, "ingrID" establishes a world where nothing is as it seems, and comfort is a thing long forgotten.

Carrsan T. Morrissey is an award-winning filmmaker, self-published author, and playwright from Cedar Falls, Iowa, known for horror films, thrillers, and powerful dramas with a distinctly independent feel.
Raw, uncompromising, and often heavy in tone, Morrissey's films are also known for their diverse casts and characters, especially in regards to the LGBTQIA+ Community.
Her films have been viewed over 2.4 million times online, and her novel "Old Wounds" debuted as one of the Top 25 best-selling new LGBT Horror Novels on Amazon, remaining on the Top 100 list for several weeks afterwards.
In the last 9 years she has written, directed, and edited over a dozen film projects, 7 of which are feature-length. Her newest work can be found at vimeo.com/matriarchfilms.
"My mission is to highlight the cinematic beauty of Iowa, to create opportunities for artistic; genre-defying collaboration in the Cedar Valley, and to tell stories that seamlessly blend psychological horror, modern folktale, and current social and political issues. I cast primarily actors from the LGBTQA+ Community, and I challenge the prospect that horror stories must be told a certain way.
In short: I want to break the rules, and have fun doing it."
