Basar Yuksel is an IB Film student that is currently in the 12th grade of The Koc School in Istanbul. Born in Istanbul, Turkey in 2003; Basar Yuksel has been learning about cinematography and the post-production side of the movies since 2016. He has started with doing YouTube videos and has been studying film since 2019 as he started the IB course. He is dedicated to writing stories that feel genuine to him and every film he's done has some sort of connection with his life. Writing scripts and creating stories has been a passion of him for a long time and he uses different types of medias to tell stories such as music and drawing. He listens and observes people as and those real-life stories are what inspires him. His movies try to explain the deeper feelings humans feel and different types of real-life situations that some people might not be familiar with. The movies mostly focus on how a person feels after certain situations or how a person can react and move forward with his life regarding his past. He creates characters with backstories that mostly have an important place in the story of the movie. He aims to show his audience real parts of life and tries to make them think about the decisions or conclusions the movie ends up on. He feels like making movies is the best way to tell a story and it can create a significant place in one of the viewers life.

Başar Yüksel, İstanbul'da Koç Lisesinin 12. sınıfında olan IB Film öğrencisidir. 2003 yılında İstanbul, Türkiye'de doğan Başar Yüksel, 2016'dan beri sinematografi ve filmlerin post prodüksiyon bölümünü öğreniyor. İlk olarak YouTube videoları yapmaya başladı ve IB programına başlaması ile 2019'dan beri film üzerine çalışıyor. Kendini gerçek hissettiren hikayeler yazmaya adamıştır ve yaptığı her filmin kendi hayatıyla bir tür bağlantısı vardır. Senaryo yazmak ve hikâye yaratmak uzun zamandır onun tutkusudur. Aynı zamanda müzik ve çizim gibi farklı medya türlerini hikâyelerini anlatmak için kullanır. İnsanları dinler ve gözlemler, duydukları ve gördükleri ona ilham veren gerçek hayat hikayeleridir. Kısa filmleri, insanların hissettiği daha derin duyguları ve bazılarının aşina olmayabileceği farklı gerçek yaşam durumlarını açıklamaya çalışır. Filmleri çoğunlukla bir kişinin belirli durumlardan sonra nasıl hissettiğine veya bir kişinin geçmişinden dolayı geleceğe karşı nasıl tepki verebileceğine ve ilerleyebileceğine odaklanır. Filmlerinin hikayelerinde ana karakterlerin geçmişleri önemli bir yer bulunduruyor. İzleyicisine hayatın gerçek kısımlarını göstermeyi hedefliyor ve onları filmin sonunda aldığı kararlar veya sonuçlar hakkında düşünmelerini sağlamaya çalışıyor. Film çekmenin bir hikaye anlatmanın en iyi yolu olduğunu ve izleyicilerin hayatında önemli bir yer oluşturabileceğini düşünüyor.
