Jeremie and Claire, travellers and filmmakers from France with wildlife for passion, joined the project to edit and help finalising this Orca Point of view short film.
With the enormous support coming from Dr Ingrid Visser they realised this project which has reached more than 100 000 views after only one month released on Youtube.

Director Statement

Heiko GRIMM is a biology student and nature photographer from Germany with an extended interest in cetaceans and birds. He plans to focus his future career on orca research and the conservancy of their natural habitat. Heiko saw I AM MORGAN as an increadible powerful tool to teach younger folks how not to treat sentient beings like orca but instead encourage them to do better in their own generation!

Irene BUESA is a translator at profession and an ecologist at heart. There is nothing better than fins, flukes and breathing blows above the sea’s surface to stir the little girl in her, being orcas’ her favorite. During a once-in-a-lifetime trip, she had the chance to meet the talented team behind IAMSF and speak up for these incredible animals. Whenever she’s not tied to work, she volunteers at a rehabilitation center for marine animals or puts her linguistic knowledge to Nature conservation's service.

Carlos GODÓ is a Software Developer working as a freelancer from Spain. His fondness for travelling, photography, Nature and a compassionate will to improve the world led him to raise awareness about orca captivity —more specifically about Morgan—through making I Am Morgan – Stolen Freedom and developing websites for the cause.
