Secrets of Kandahar - Cosmic Dance
[short] New-wave Synthwave Synthpop telling the story of a space journey in an alternate universe of the desert planet Kandahar, where Lena Baier plays the role of a girl who is traded to an alien civilization as a hostage of peace in exchange for knowledge and progress.
[long] And so it came to pass — contact was made with visitors from other worlds. The mysterious realm of Kandahar met the world of the technocrats, who brought knowledge and technology. They awakened a yearning for the unknown in the hearts of the Kandahari people, and in doing so, disrupted their peaceful, contemplative way of life. Kandahar was a world on the edge of time. A desert planet where the wind carried the song of millennial balance. Lena set out on her journey as Panta Rhei — a flowing bridge between worlds. From the sky descended the strangers — technocrats from higher dimensions. They brought with them technologies that altered the very fabric of reality. In return for their gift, they asked for only one thing: Lena. Not as a prisoner, but as a symbol. A representative of the covenant — Panta Rhei, the sacred guide of transformation.
Following their instructions, the people of Kandahar built strange machines and a vessel capable of crossing between the dimensions — and with it, Lena. She traveled through systems and faiths. Cosmic currents carried her from plasma nebulae to cities suspended in time, all the way to the edge of the known. In the depths of one of those worlds — a world of electric shadows and mechanical emotion — she met Him. He was not human. Nor was he machine. He was consciousness. His heart was made of energy, but his gaze was human.
It was resonance. Two distinct signals that began to harmonize. Some would call it love — and from that love, a connection was born. Just as human and machine became one, so did two dimensions, two worlds that were never meant to meet under the laws of the universe. The Kandahari had defied time itself to fulfill their part of the agreement — and offered their most precious gift: a beautiful, unique blonde girl, unlike anyone else in her society. Their brightest jewel. And in a foreign world, she found true love. All of this culminated in a grand concert, set at the threshold between the realities of both worlds and Cosmic Baby birth.
The video was created by hybrid creation using classic image processing tools such as Da Vinci Reslove. In terms of artificial generative intelligence, new models MidJorney V 7.0, RunwayML Gen4 and Kling AI were involved for improved Lip-sync. I was aiming for a result with minimal uncanny mesh, realistic-looking images and outputting native 4K video. So a new clip is a new generation of tools.
AI tools significantly transformed my creative workflow, enabling me to bring to life artistic visions that would otherwise have remained impossible to realize. By leveraging AI-driven video editing, effects, and storytelling capabilities, I could visually communicate complex emotions and deeper messages embedded in my music. Without AI’s assistance, my creative concepts and the meaningful narratives behind my compositions would have remained beyond my technical reach. In short, AI empowered me not only to create content closer to my original artistic intentions but also to effectively deliver the powerful message my music carries.
My short film explores themes of love, unity of opposites, and the fundamental need for cooperation and mutual understanding in our shared cosmic existence. It emphasizes that humanity stands no chance in the vastness of the universe unless we overcome division and learn to work together. This message strongly resonates today, particularly against the backdrop of growing tensions and fragmentation in our society, highlighting one of the greatest challenges humanity faces: finding common ground amidst profound differences.

Petr Chroustovský, DiS. - graphic designer, game developer, director, digital creator, webmaster, 3D printer and last but not least, ISP network administrator of BEST-NET is a technoptimist who has long been involved in cybernetics, transhumanism and cyberpunk with a bizarre sense of humor. He comes from Jihlava and lives in Hradec Králové, where he has done a number of artistic and audiovisual projects (painting exhibitions, screening of the author's documentary film One Year Garden, author of the adventure game Dark Disharmony, winner of the national photography competition Canon 2008, small literary and journalistic works) and is the creator and owner of the company d3arts.cz. Chroust, as he calls himself, is a prankster and "Army of one man" and his penchant for technology has naturally led him to artificial intelligence, which he also likes to dabble in. For example, you can meet his AI model Lenka Baier on social media. He studied mechatronics at the Secondary School of Industrial, Technical and Automotive Engineering in Jihlava and the Secondary and Higher School of Applied Cybernetics in Hradec Kralove in the field of Computer Art and Design.
