Heranças de abril

Two granddaughters go to their grandmother's house to place carnations to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April. Despite being twins, their positions could not be more antagonistic: Dani happily celebrates the Carnation Revolution, while Lara does not share the same enthusiasm. During their stay, the sisters end up joining forces to complete a mission for democracy and freedom.

Esta obra nasce do desejo de explorar como as memórias da Revolução dos Cravos continuam a moldar as nossas identidades e relações familiares. Através de uma narrativa íntima, procuramos refletir sobre o impacto que os ideais de liberdade e justiça têm nas gerações que não viveram diretamente o 25 de Abril, mas que carregam as suas consequências e esperanças. Esta curta-metragem é uma homenagem às heranças emocionais e políticas que nos definem, e um convite à reflexão sobre o que significa, hoje, ser livre em Portugal.
