Director Biography - Aisha Servia

Aisha Servia is an Indonesian filmmaker based in Brooklyn.

Currently studying Film & Sociology at The New School, her work is informed by the intersection between the two disciplines, searching for the personal in the vast, and universality in the minute: explorations of personal histories and collective memory. 

To her, filmmaking as practice is rooted in archiving, which serves well as her excuse to hoard every ticket stub, every screenshot, every voice note.
