Director Statement

I always wanted to tell a story of a political refugee and how that person has to start a new life from scratch in an unknown territory. With Full Memory, my aim is to show the psychological point of view of how refugees could feel especially showing their loneliness as well as their psychological state of mind. I wrote, shot and edited this short film in 48 hours as a challenge to myself plus I wanted to have the camera as close as possible to the main character in order to feel his ordeal. Choosing black and white is a choice that I decided to take in order to show how lonely and empty people can become especially if they are nostalgic about their past.
