Fox child
- "Fox child" tells a story about acceptance and healing facing a congenital illness. -
"Fox child" tells the story of a young girl living with tourette's syndrome, a neurological disorder resulting in "tics" - seemingly involuntary twitches and movements as well as tic-like vocal expressions.
Being different than the other kids her age she tries to gain acceptance but faces teasing and rejection on a daily basis. After a bad day, being rejected even by her mother, she meets a mysterious fox who leads her into a magical world inside of herself where she begins a journey to learn how to face and to accept her tics and how to gain back her confidence and self-love.

" 'Fox child' tells a story about tourette's syndrome - a condition I have myself. Therefore it is a very personal film. However it is about much more than just about tourette's. The film tells a story of acceptance, self-discovery and courage. A story about a journey from the outside to the inside. The protagonist desperately seeks acceptance of her peers but her attempts at gaining this acceptance fail. This is how her journey into her inner world begins. A journey in which she gets to know a fox which is essentially a symbol of her own confidence. In the world of the fox she gets to understand her differences and learns how to deal with them. The fox takes her home. Home is not a place in the outside world but an inner place of calm and peace which the protagonist is able to find.
