Advotod Visions: 25 Founding Creators Call

Advotod Visions is launching a new global streaming and media platform built to amplify Black, African, Caribbean, urban, independent, and diaspora storytelling. Through this special online creator submission event, we are selecting 25 Founding Creators to be part of the first wave of filmmakers, storytellers, and visionaries helping shape the future of Advotod Visions.

This opportunity is open to creators with original films, series, documentaries, short films, animation, web series, pilots, music-driven visual projects, cultural stories, and bold independent content. We are looking for creators with authentic voices, powerful stories, and a desire to build with a platform committed to culture, ownership, visibility, and opportunity.

Selected creators may receive the opportunity to have their work considered for placement, promotion, licensing, or partnership opportunities through Advotod Visions as the platform prepares for launch. This is more than a submission window — it is an invitation to help build a new creative home for global storytelling.

We are seeking creators who believe their stories deserve a bigger stage and who are ready to be part of something from the beginning.

The festival structure will be as follows:

11:00 AM – 11:05 AM
Welcome and opening remarks.

11:05 AM – 2:00 PM
Premiere screenings of the Top 4 selected creator projects. Each screening will be followed by a live Q&A, giving filmmakers the opportunity to discuss their creative process, their project, and their participation in the founding creator class.

2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Introduction and recognition of the remaining 21 selected Founding Creators. This portion of the festival will present the creators selected to be part of the first official Advotod Visions creator class.

Creator Spotlight Opportunities
Selected creators may be featured in Advotod Visions promotional campaigns, social media spotlights, interviews, trailers, creator announcements, or launch-related marketing.

Founding Creator Badge/Laurels
Selected creators may receive official Advotod Visions “25 Founding Creators” digital laurels or promotional graphics to use on their website, social media, press materials, or project pages.

Future Partnership Consideration
Selected creators may be considered for future collaborations, original content opportunities, sponsored projects, or platform development initiatives.

Please note: Selection does not guarantee financial compensation, distribution, licensing, or platform placement. All opportunities are subject to final review, project eligibility, rights clearance, agreement terms, and Advotod Visions’ launch strategy.

By submitting to the **Advotod Visions: 25 Founding Creators Call**, the submitter confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following rules and terms:

All submissions must be original works owned or properly controlled by the submitter. The submitter must have the legal right to submit the project and must hold, secure, or be able to provide proof of all necessary rights, licenses, releases, and permissions for the content submitted, including but not limited to music, footage, images, artwork, performances, trademarks, and any third-party materials.

Submissions may include feature films, short films, documentaries, series, pilots, web series, animation, music-driven visual projects, experimental projects, cultural stories, and other original visual content. Projects may be completed, in post-production, or submitted as proof-of-concept materials, trailers, pilots, or sample episodes when applicable.

Advotod Visions is especially interested in stories connected to Black, African, Caribbean, urban, independent, and global diaspora experiences; however, all eligible creators with strong, original storytelling are welcome to submit.

There is **no submission fee** to submit to this online creator selection opportunity.

Submission does not guarantee selection, distribution, streaming placement, licensing, financial compensation, or partnership with Advotod Visions. Selected creators will be chosen at the sole discretion of Advotod Visions based on originality, creative voice, storytelling quality, cultural relevance, audience potential, production value, platform fit, and overall alignment with Advotod Visions’ mission.

If selected as one of the **25 Founding Creators**, the creator may be contacted by Advotod Visions for further review, rights verification, promotional opportunities, licensing discussions, distribution consideration, or future partnership opportunities. Any streaming, licensing, distribution, or paid opportunity will require a separate written agreement between the creator and Advotod Visions.

By submitting, the creator grants Advotod Visions permission to review the submitted project and to use the project title, creator name, submitted stills, poster, trailer, logline, synopsis, and approved promotional materials for selection announcements, festival-related promotion, social media, website promotion, and Advotod Visions marketing related to this creator call. The submitter retains ownership of their submitted project.

Submitters are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is accurate and that all submitted links remain active and accessible throughout the review period. Password-protected links must include a valid password. Advotod Visions is not responsible for inaccessible links, missing materials, incomplete submissions, or incorrect contact information.

Projects containing unauthorized copyrighted material, hate speech, unlawful content, exploitative content, or content that Advotod Visions determines to be inconsistent with its mission may be disqualified.

Advotod Visions reserves the right to update deadlines, selection dates, eligibility requirements, and program details as needed.

By submitting, the creator acknowledges that this is an online creator selection opportunity and agrees that all decisions made by Advotod Visions are final.
