PHREAQ0UT is.. environmental existentialism in a nutshell.
My name is M. Scott Ault, also known as the Ocean Cyclist because I am going to be the first person to circumnavigate the globe in a pedal powered boat to promote sustainability.. and I want to screen YOUR work to my ever- growing audience!
This event is physical/ in person but dislocated- I am negotiating with different venues across numerous metropolitan areas such as Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto and more and I am PRE SEEDING these areas with a PRINT MAGAZINE that will push audience to the specified venues to watch and vote on your submissions.
About the Magazine:
I am launching a bi- monthly print magazine titled "The Standard Exhibit" (thestandardexhibit.com) with it's first issue hitting the street(s) late August. Distribution is secured to over 200 points across several major cities augmented with "street team" distributional work and "readership" is expected to reach or exceed 15,000 people before the main event on Sept. 18th and 19th.
The process...
Round One is public and venue based with free voting. Top voted submissions moving on to Round Two.
Round Two will take place in conjunction with a "Telethon" styled fundraiser on Sept. 18th
Voting..
..is public and FREE.. and your submissions will be available for free and for public review/ re- stream off the website.

Late Submissions will be listed in a digital primer/ downloadable
The Awards
During the late afternoon and evening of Sept. 19th screening will take place again and prior to the end of the telethon.. Awards will be distributed.
About the Telethon
In conjunction with Blast! Toronto, I am negotiating a physical space to host the event (no, you don't need to be there) that will consist of an art show/ sale along with variety based entertainment part of which is PHREAQ0UT. Your submissions will be screened onsite and at the disparate venues that rebroadcast the telethon AND the venues that originally screened your work to their audience. An, the purpose of the telethon is to raise funds to finish my boat and/ or send me on my journey around the world by pedal power!
Content/ Style
OPEN! While my overarching goal is to promote sustainability I am aware that entertainment makes life more enjoyable so.. the only limitation is CONTENT in so far as it must be PG-13 or.. under. Nothing that would be described as "prurient" is permitted. Submissions that fall in to that category will be disqualified without refund or appeal.
I am currently negotiating with interested parties for prize donations. I anticipate an edit in the near future on this entry.
