Rules & Terms


Welcome to the Int'l Kingdom Smartphone Film Festival (IKSFF)!

We're excited to present an exceptional platform for kingdom and gospel filmmakers to showcase their creative talents through the lens of smartphone filmmaking. Please take a moment to review the Rules and Term (Guidelines) for the competition:

1.Your short film must be shot on a smartphone. Any equipment can be used for editing.

2.All films must fall under the categories of kingdom movies, music videos, cartoons, docu-drama, or documentaries shot with a smartphone. There are no limitations on brands of smartphones.

3.Any genre of Gospel and kingdom movies will be accepted.

4.The film's duration must be between 1 to 40 minutes, with no exceptions. The running time includes end credits. With some exception of full length smartphone movies

5.The film must be submitted as ORIGINAL resolution on a MOV or MP4 file, and it should be under 2 gigabytes in size.

6.The film must have been produced after January 1, 2022.

7.Works in progress will NOT be accepted.

8.English subtitles are required for submissions in languages other than English.

9.Your film must not contain explicit content, including but not limited to nudity, excessive violence, or offensive language.

10. Each participant can submit up to as many films, but each film must be submitted separately under each category with its own entry form.

11.By submitting your film, thriller of each movie is essential and compulsory to be subtitled, with graphic designs of the short movies or music etc., with that you grant the Int'l Kingdom Smartphone Film Festival the right to use excerpts or stills from your film for promotional purposes.

12.All decisions made by the festival judges are final.

13.Participants retain the rights to their films, but the festival may showcase winning films at public events and on promotional platforms.

14.Participants must ensure that they have obtained all necessary rights and permissions for any copyrighted material used in their films.

15.The festival is open to Kingdom filmmakers of all ages and backgrounds, globally.

16.The submission deadline is here. Late submissions will not be accepted.

17.Winners will be announced on the festival's official website and/or social media channels.

18.Participants are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided during submission.

19.The festival organizers reserve the right to disqualify any film that violates the rules or fails to meet the submission criteria.

20.By participating in the festival, filmmakers agree to abide by all the rules and guidelines outlined.

21. In addition, please note that all films must be original and void of infringement on rights. Music scores, sound effects, and any other audiovisual elements used in the films must be original compositions or properly licensed for use in your submission.
