#SHORTBA aims to become the largest festival of short films, web series and new media in Argentina.

We call on all filmmakers to apply their work exclusively through filmfreeway.com.

Before its first edition, we already have the interest of filmmakers from more than 20 countries from different regions of the world.

The works will be shortlisted and then evaluated by professionals in the audiovisual production of Argentina (Screenwriters, Directors and Actors) for the respective competition for prizes of different categories.

Los trabajos serán preseleccionados y luego evaluados por profesionales de la realización audiovisual de la Argentina (Guionistas, Directores y Actores) para la competencia por los respectivos premios de las diferentes categorías.

Rules & Terms

1. To submit your film to #SHORTBA, you must first upload your film or trailer to either Vimeo.com or YouTube.com.
2. You can submit your film privately and send the password. Judges will award the best films through private screenings.
3. By submitting to the Festival you confirm that you own the rights of the film and you agree to allow your project to be shown privately to our jury. Your name and information about your project may be used for promotion.
4. Submissions in languages other than Spanish must be subtitled in English or Spanish.
5. Multiple entries are allowed. You can submit more than one film to the same category.
6. We accept every kind of film
7. #SHORTBA is open to everyone. If you’re under 18, you will need to include a parent’s name and contact info.
8. Only a few films will be screened publicly prior authorization of the filmmakers. The Festival will contact the filmmakers advance to request permission to be projected to the public.

1. Para aplicar #SHORTBA, debes subir tu película o trailer a Vimeo.com o Youtube.com
2. Puedes enviar tu película de forma privada y enviarnos el password. Las películas serán evaluadas por el jurado de forma privada.
3. Al aplicar a #SHORTBA, confirmas que tienes los derechos del film y estás de acuerdo con que #SHORTBA proyecte el film ante jurado para su evaluación. Tu nombre y la información de tu proyecto puede ser utilizada para promoción.
4. Los proyectos en idiomas diferentes al Español, deben tener subtítulos en Inglés o Español.
5. Se aceptan múltiples envíos. Puedes enviar más de un film en cada categoría.
6. Aceptamos cualquier tipo de film.
7. #SHORTBA está abierto a todos. Si tienes menos de 18 años, necesitamos que incluyas el nombre e información de contacto de tu padre/madre.
8. Solo algunos films serán proyectados públicamente, previa autorización de los realizadores. El Festival se contactará con los realizadores previamente para solicitar permiso para ser proyectado al público.
