Zotfest is an annual student film run festival at the University of California, Irvine. The festival is a sub organization of FADA (Film-Arts-Drama Alliance at UCI) which proposes to provide filmmaking opportunities for students of all majors.

Rules & Terms
You must be a UCI student currently enrolled in the 2016-2017 academic year.
Your first and last name is required on the form in order for us to accept your film.
An email address is required on the form in case we need to contact your further about your submission.
Your film must:
-have been completed sometime while you were a student at UCI
-be in English or include English subtitles
All award categories must have at least one current UCI student involved to be considered for the award
(ex: to be considered for the best performance award, you must have at least one major character be a UCI student; to be considered for best editing, you must have at least one editor be a current UCI student, etc.)
You need to export your film in H264 codec 1080p for submission and screening.
No copyrighted material allowed or accepted without permission from copyright owners. (This includes copyrighted music)
The $30 submission fee is required to submit your film.
Films should be no longer than 15 minutes in length (including credits).
Up to one alumni film will be showcased in the festival this year. While it is not eligible for an award, it will hold a special place in the festival as our Alumni Selection. Alumni films must have been completed while the alumnus was still a student at UCI in 2015-2016.
*Please keep in mind if you'd like to submit your film to other film festivals after Zotfest; many film festivals make it a rule that you can't have your film available online before or during submissions. FADA doesn't upload Zotfest submissions online without the owners permission*
