ShowPup is launching its first Short Film Fest focused on honoring excellent Short Films from emerging filmmakers.

A live festival event with screenings for the winners is planning for November 2016 in Chicago Illinois. The screenings will take place at Catalyst Ranch in West Loop Neighborhood.

ShowPup is a network of creative media artists focused on entertaining the sophisticated audience. ShowPup is dedicated to curating quality narrative content and providing a platform for creators. By partnering with creatives we strive to help launch and incubate their craft.

Awards & Prizes

Best of Fest - Award for best short film in festival. $500 Cash prize for the winner and development deal.

Best Comedy - $100 Cash prize for the winner and option for development deal.

Best Drama - $100 Cash prize for the winner and option for development deal.

Honorary Mention - Awarded to several films we consider to be excellent enough for recognition, but not the winning film.

Rules & Terms

1. Films must be between 3 and 30 minutes long.
2. Award-winning films will be displayed online at our website.
3. All short films must be in English. Films must not contain excessive nudity or excessive violence.
4. By submitting to the festival you confirm that you own the rights of the work submitted and ShowPup has the rights to display online and at our event.
5. All submissions must be thru FilmFreeway.
