2017 marks the 10th anniversary of QFest St. Louis. The festival uses the art of contemporary gay cinema to spotlight the lives of LGBTQ people and celebrate queer culture. QFest brings films to audiences that would not otherwise be seen on the big screen in St. Louis. QFest St. Louis is presented by Cinema St. Louis, organizers of the St. Louis International Film Festival. Submissions should be relevant to LGBTQ audiences.
Rules & Terms
I affirm that the information above and on the previous pages is correct, that I have read, understood, and do hereby agree to be bound by the festival regulations as described herein and that I have the legal right to represent and to submit this film to QFest – St. Louis. Music rights and all copyright clearances are the sole responsibility of the filmmaker. Cinema St. Louis (CSL) will not be held responsible for any legal disputes regarding the exhibition of this film. Submitting a film for consideration does not guarantee inclusion in the 2017 QFest line up. Noncompliance with form may affect, delay, and/or disqualify your entry. Submission DVDs are returned only if the filmmaker has provided the festival with a prepaid self-addressed envelope. The print source will be responsible for the cost of print shipment to the festival. QFest will return the print pre-paid to the supplier or to the next destination as indicated by the supplier at the festival’s conclusion. The festival does not provide extra insurance for originals or masters. Permission for the festival to use excerpts of each submitted film, not to exceed 3 minutes, for promotional purposes is considered granted on submission, unless otherwise noted. The festival reserves the right to complete any information not supplied by the filmmaker from whatever source available and will not be responsible if incorrect information is entered. Participation in QFest implies understanding and acceptance of above regulations and requirements of this application. Notifications will be made prior to March 20, 2017.
