"Simply put, among America's very best small film festivals." - Filmmaker Magazine

In its 6th year, the Oak Cliff Film Festival has established itself as a significant city-wide event, featuring the best of Oak Cliff’s theater and art venues, restaurants, bars, and small businesses. OCFF was founded in 2011 as a regional film festival in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas, Texas. The festival has received national acclaim from prominent sources including The New York Times, Filmmaker Magazine, and Moviemaker Magazine. The Oak Cliff Film Festival showcases brave and independent filmmaking of all stripes in an atmosphere that encourages and fosters filmmaking in Dallas and beyond.

The 2017 festival will take place in the heart of the Jefferson Boulevard and Bishop Arts Districts. OCFF celebrates the eclectic flair and tastes of its birthplace with an equally diverse lineup of films and events, curated annually with a thematic bent.

“You’d be hard pressed to find a better programmed film festival of its size in the country.” - D Magazine

"Whether culling from the national festival circuit or bringing in unheralded gems to make their debut, the Oak Cliff Film Festival team consistently curates a lineup featuring some of the most genuinely interesting films one is likely to see in town in a given year." - Central Track

Had a great experience premiering our short "Ghosting The Party" here! Programmers, staff and volunteers were all amazing! Saw great stuff and meet some fantastic filmmakers. Hope to screen here again! Nashville is a dream and I could not recommend Fran's on the East Side more as far as after party spots. It is a magical place and I miss that place most of all.

I reviewed OCFF in 2015, so I'll copy/paste that first:
Just got back to LA after attending OCFF 2015. Easily one of the best festivals I've ever attended. The staff and volunteers are passionate, engaged, and a lot of fun! They really take care of both the filmmakers and audience. The venues are fantastic and there so many events and cool stuff to do. And the movies: they curate with an eclectic yet inclusive eye. And it shows with the audience—passionate people of all ages and backgrounds who help create engaging Q&As. While only in its 4th year, they've really got it together and I can't wait for year 5!!
UPDATE: I went back the next year! Loved it as much, if not more! They're growing and I see no signs of stopping. A great alumni too, there were a lot of familiar faces when I went back, both festival organizers and returning filmmakers. Don't. Miss. This.
