  • The programming at CAAMFest is consistently world-class, bridging the gap between industry and storytelling. Having experienced their hospitality firsthand for the last three years, I can say they consistently push the bar! They curate a space where filmmakers feel seen, heard, and celebrated through the industry panels, office hours, and of course the screening of films! Their dedication to the industry and filmmakers, like myself, is evident in every panel, screening, and interaction. A must-submit for any serious filmmaker looking to build a lifelong community.

Incredible festival experience!! We were lucky to have our world premiere for our feature film Mabuhay at CAAMFest 2026. Having traveled all the way from the midwest to share our story in the Bay Area, CAAMFest made our entire team feel so welcome and at home! We built such beautiful memories and met a lot of great artists that will definitely be lifelong. This is a festival I'm glad to be a part of my story and I'm honored to be a part of this festival's legacy!

To Asian American filmmakers looking for a beautiful community to share their work with, please consider CAAMFest!!

CAAMFest always delivers. From the moment you step into their Opening Night at the Asian Art Museum, you feel like royalty. The setting is stunning, and the festival immediately sets the tone, celebrating the filmmakers in the most prestigious way.

The programming is equally impressive, not just screenings but also panels that stand out as some of the most educational and informative I’ve ever attended.

And of course, the parties. Every night was filled with energy, connection, and community, creating opportunities to meet fellow filmmakers and staff in a way that felt effortless and meaningful.

An incredibly inspiring important event for Asian-American artists to meet in the heart of Japantown. A must-attend with a great line-up of films and workshops.

Having grown up in the Bay Area, it was very special to be able to screen at the Kabuki in Japantown. I loved the afternoons packed with back to back panels and the programmers were so thoughtful with their questions at the Q&A's. The Gala was stunning and I was pleasantly surprised to see some Indonesian food being served :)
