RULES & TERMS – 4th Annual Fear Fame Film Festival

By submitting your project, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to all festival rules, terms, and conditions listed below.

GENERAL SUBMISSION RULES

The Fear Fame Film Festival assumes no responsibility for loss, damage, or theft of submitted materials before, during, or after the festival.

All submission fees are non-refundable, regardless of acceptance status.

Submitting a film does not guarantee festival selection or screening.

Entrants may submit multiple projects, but each must be submitted separately with its own form and payment.

All selected films must be available for screening in DCP format unless special arrangements are made.

ELIGIBILITY & CATEGORIES

Short Films: Must be 30 minutes or under, including credits.

Feature Films: Accepted in any genre.

Student Films: Must be created while enrolled at an accredited school or university. Proof of enrollment may be required.

We accept films of all genres and from filmmakers worldwide.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

All submissions must be provided via FilmFreeway online screener (private link, Vimeo, or FilmFreeway video upload).

Entries will not be considered complete until both the submission form and payment are received.

All films must be in English, or subtitled/dubbed in English, unless prior arrangements are approved by the festival.

SCREENING & PROMOTIONAL RIGHTS

By submitting, filmmakers grant the Fear Fame Film Festival the non-exclusive right to use:

Film stills

Poster artwork

Trailer

And up to 2 minutes of footage
for promotional purposes, advertising, press, and festival marketing.

Selected filmmakers may be asked to provide additional promotional materials.

RESPONSIBILITY & LIABILITY

The festival is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen submissions or screening materials.

The submitter confirms they hold all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for the film’s content, including music, images, and cast.

FESTIVAL NOTIFICATION

All filmmakers will be notified via FilmFreeway if their film is selected.

Selected films must provide their final screening copy promptly after notification.

Screening order, schedule, and program placement are solely at the festival’s discretion.

ACCEPTANCE AGREEMENT

By submitting to the Fear Fame Film Festival, you acknowledge and agree to all festival Rules & Terms, and certify that all information provided is true and correct. You also grant the festival the rights listed above for promotional use.
