Georgia is a London based actor, director, and voice-over artist, recently graduated from the MA Acting for Screen course at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Her acting credits include lead roles in The Sewing Circle (Winner of the 2024 Brighton Rocks Outstanding Achievement Award) and stage play Funny Turns, as well as being a featured dancer in Amazon Starz’s Becoming Elizabeth.
Georgia's keen interest in the film-making process has lead to her trying her hand in many departments over the years, allowing her to gain a wealth of knowledge that she is excited to have manifested in her directorial debut, Favouritism.
Our story jumps into the deep end of female friendships and the complex dynamics entangling the central characters. These girls are inseparable, bonded by over a decade of secrets, dependency, and loyalty. But when faced with a crisis that exposes the cracks in their friendship, will they band together or break apart?
I want people watching to reflect on how honest and secure their own friendships truly are, especially childhood ones where their lives and values may no longer align. Some relationships grow hollow as people get stuck in familiar patterns, filled with jealousy and long-held grudges. Some are an unbreakable bond that surpass the need for commonalities, offering support and love without judgement or conditions.
But that can also be a dangerous thing.
