The 2026 Marina del Rey Film Festival will be held June 18th - 26th, 2026, at the Lumiere Cinema in Beverly Hills, CA.

Opening Night Party June 18th
Screenings start June 19th

Submissions are Open for shorts and feature narratives and documentaries, as well as screenplays. music videos, and even experimental films.

Marina del Rey is a hotbed of activity for film and technology on the West Side of Los Angeles (aka the Silicon Beach of LA). The festival is accepting films in every genre, on any topic, from every country around the world from features to shorts. Its goals are to promote the spirit of film-making and indie film in Marina del Rey, Los Angeles and throughout the world.

I think the cinema is fantastic, the location is superb, and the organization is top-notch! Thank you so much for letting us be a part of it; we even won the "Best International Music Video" award.     I wish I had been able to attend more of the festival, but it coincided with a previously planned summer vacation. That said, I had an amazing time at my screening and truly enjoyed connecting with the other filmmakers. To my surprise, I even won an award—though unfortunately, I couldn’t attend the awards ceremony. This was a well-organized festival in a fantastic venue, with great energy all around that made it feel like a true celebration. I would absolutely submit again and hope to take part in more events next time.

    This is really a Filmmakers Film Festival. I really appreciate Peter Greene's interest in giving filmmakers an opportunity for the public to see their films. I thought more so than other festivals does he bend over to include your film at their fest. Very good at selecting a wide range of films with a variety of topics!
