On a normal day, a strange looking person nervously visits the office of a specialist doctor with some medical reports. Taking much time more than usual for studying the reports and MRI scan to reach a conclusion, doctor's mood and tension gives the visitor more anxiety and nervousness. Being already depressed, many times he tries to interrupt doctor's activities for a quick answer but gets back feeling not to disturb his activity. Finally doctor reveals the sad truth that his child's reports indicates lung cancer and immediate treatment is required including a major surgery, that gives the visitor a thunderbolt. He also says that the child could be ill due to the passive smoking effect of his father. And that gives him the answer of his life. He leaves the doctor's office with a 'not living the moment' mood. And for the surprise, what the doctor did re-observing the reports of the child again was never expected.

"Involved in his working areas of Filmmaking, Cinematography, Writing, etc, Suresh Padmanabhan, generally known as 'SP' among his folks, is actively into Indian Film industry for more than a decade.
He started his career associating Mr. Anandakuttan, a renowned cinematographer in India. Suresh later spread his areas of activities into writing and film direction too. He has many feature films, short films, music album videos, documentaries, industrial films etc, in his creation till now.
His cinematography for the Tamil short film 'Theekkuchi' (2008) which has exposed the dark sides of child labor, has fetched him the award in San Francisco Short Film Festival in 2008. His recent Malayalam short film 'Oormakalil Niraye' (2015) showcases the trauma of 'old age' being outcast from the modern society, which has screened in the national television and many film festivals.
I consider myself making this film 'Ennittum' as a great success if at least one person in this world could stop the habit of cigarette smoking after watching it. Thank you.
