Director Biography - ElectricSkin

This work develops from Electric Skin, a long-term visual practice rooted in fetish photography and expanded into experimental film.
At its core is a self-developed approach to “light painting fetish” photography, where the body is not documented, but constructed through controlled illumination, surface reflection, and staged proximity.
The films continue this logic in motion. They do not originate from narrative cinema or documentary observation, but from a visual methodology shaped in still image practice — where bodies, materials, and costumes are treated as sculptural elements within controlled light environments.
Fetish here is not used as subject matter, but as an image system. Latex, skin, and light operate as interchangeable layers of perception, defining how the body appears, disappears, and transforms within the frame.
The work moves between abstraction and embodiment, maintaining a focus on sensory intensity rather than explanation or storytelling.
