He was born in Caracas on July 23, 1998. He lived in the José Félix Ribas neighborhood until he was 15 years old. He moved to El Vigía, Mérida, looking for a quieter place and there he discovered the School of Audiovisual Media in the city of Mérida, two hours from the town, where he is currently studying at the Faculty of Humanities of the Universidad de los Andes. It was not until the age of 14 that he used his first camera, discovering his vocation that, beyond that, is a way of life. He is a producer at the company El Regaño.
This short film is a non-direct sequel to the short film “Beyond the Journey (2022)”. Both stories focus on the mystery surrounding the deaths in the city of Mérida, Venezuela. “The End of All Things” is a short film that addresses the topic of suicide in a poetic and subjective way. The state of Mérida in Venezuela is the place where the largest number of deaths by suicide in all of the country. It is also the state in the country where people suffer the most from depression. The whole city in some way is a reminder of how fragile life is there. We wanted to talk about the topic through metaphors where the dead people were really the victims of the city and its society, where their only salvation is to move on to the next life.
