After a tragedy, a father and son struggle to connect. Looking for answers in the stars, the boy, Isaac, begins searching through his attic for supplies to build an interstellar radio. As Isaac progresses towards his goal, both father and son are forced to confront their mutual loss.

Director Biography - Jack Birdsall

Jack Birdsall was born in Huntington, Indiana and raised in Kiev, Ukraine as a child of missionaries. He grew an affinity for films and photography at a young age, raised on Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. He studied film at Northwestern University (class of ’17), where he wrote and directed a number of short films about death and outer space. He is currently based in Chicago, Illinois.

Director Statement

Earth To Isaac is a film about the end of childhood. This film is an illustration of how I felt about leaving college and becoming a full-blast adult. Isaac's childhood ends sooner than expected, and this film is about his vain attempt to restore it.
