Saltwater Interlude

On the eve of her high school graduation, seventeen year old Linda wakes up to news that her sickly grandmother will not make it through the day. To avoid her realities, she takes her seven year old cousin Elena out of the house while family members say their goodbyes.

Director Biography - Kaia Santos

Kaia Santos is an NYC based writer and art director from San Diego, California. Kaia has a passion for multiple artistic mediums, and can often be found drawing and painting in addition to her work as a writer and filmmaker. She brings a philosophical approach to any project, and uses filmmaking as a means to understand the world around her and her place in it. She is currently a Senior at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, pursuing a B.F.A. in Film & Television Production with a minor in Philosophy.
