Cliché

“Cliché” showcases story of Ishaan, a 22-year-old 9 to 5 working Engineer, living in Delhi. He
is terrible at his job. Frustration of corporate life has made him a junkie over the time. One day,
Ishaan wakes up by a nightmare that has been haunting him for quite long time. His frustration
reaches its peak when his boss Dipti calls. Dipti, tells him about company's new policies for
the COVID-19 pandemic. With 50% pay cut Ishaan struggles to keep up with his day-to-day life.
Soon after he completely loses his job. It adds on to his miseries and unable to deal with this
he decides to take his life. Hence turning his nightmare in a reality.
After 2 years, a new person, Sujal comes to live in his room... but there's something different about this room.....

Director Biography - Meezaish Tajali

My name is Meezaish Tajali and I am from Srinagar, Kashmir. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Kashmir University, Srinagar and am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Film and TV Production from Lovely Professional University, Punjab.
I have previously worked in Radio station and news organisations in my home town and have also worked as a director in a short film called “gaash” with won a special recognition award in CRVC 2017. Photography, graphic designing and attempting to tell stories through my words and camera is what I love and I wish to bring favourable change in the society through my movies. I wish to make movies for everyone to understand and am currently in the process of practising the art of making movies and strive for continuous improvement in my work by understanding the lives of the masses. I like to travel and explore new places, meet new people and watch movies. Camera in hand, shooting places and people fascinates me. Filmmaking is my passion.

This was an incredible and fun project to make. This project allowed us to
apply our understanding of filmmaking to all the stages of production. We
found out how a team operates and how to work under pressure.
