Une occasion de plus de porter à l’écran les films produits et réalisés sur le sol Antillais, des films de cinéma qui racontent des histoires qui reflètent nos expériences.
Ouvert sur la Caraïbe, les Amériques et sur le monde, le festival poursuit sa mission d’agir comme rampe de lancement de nos talents.
Le festival accepte des films :
- de tout genre,
- de toute durée,
- écrits et/ou réalisés des originaires de la Caraïbe francophone ou des territoires ultramarins francophones

Les parties non francophones doivent être sous-titrées en français

From October 1st to 6th 2026, CINESTAR by Caribbean Cinemas will celebrate the 10th edition of Cinestar International Film Festival. We will continue to bring to the screen films produced and directed in the French Caribbean, films that tell stories that reflect our experiences. Open to the Caribbean, the Americas, and the world, the festival continues its mission to act as a launchpad for our talents.

The festival accepts movies:
- of any genre,
- of any length,
- written and/or directed by individuals from the French-speaking Caribbean or French-speaking territories
FILMS MUST BE IN FRENCH OR WITH FRENCH SUBTITLES TO BE CONSIDERED.

LES FILMS ELIGIBLES :
- Films réalisés après le 1er Novembre 2024
- Dans le cas d’une production non francophone, le film doit être sous-titré en français.
POUR LA COMPETITION
- Tout genre et toute durée admissibles (fiction, documentaire animation, expérimental, long et court-métrages).
- Œuvre écrite et/ou réalisée pour le cinéma par un originaire de la Caraïbe francophone: Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyane, Saint Martin, Saint Barthélémy, Haïti...) et de l'Océan Indien. Ce, même si la production est étrangère, est considéré comme français, et peut donc s’inscrire.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- Films' completion date must be after November 1st 2024.
- When film is not French-speaking, SUBMISSION MUST CONTAIN FRENCH SUBTITLES TO BE CONSIDERED.
- Admissible genres : all genres (fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, feature-length and short films).
FOR THE COMPETITION:
- Work written and/or directed for cinema by someone originally from the French-speaking Caribbean: Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyana, Saint Martin, Saint Barthélemy, Haiti... Even if the production is foreign, it is considered French and can therefore be submitted.
