Experiencing Interruptions?

"C"- Blues

Inspired by the 2020 Global Pandemic COVID-19. Hollywood is temporarily closed and actors are furloughed. Writer|Director Jeanette saw the need to write about what is happening in the world today. While practicing social distancing and self-recording from their homes, we created a series! A pinch of drama and a few dashes of excitement with a twist... we bring to you... "CORONA BLUES"

Corona Blues tell the stories of the lives of Doctors, nurses, husbands, wives, children, and communities faced with COVID-19. As the fight for COVID-19 erupts, social injustices are brought to the forefront and the WORLD reacts!

Corona Blues was filmed by the cast at their own homes. We practiced social distancing and were amazed at how we could put our talents together to come up with a show to keep us entertained during an awful time in history.

Jeanette Greenwood, native of Fort Worth ,TX, CEO, storyteller, poet, filmmaker, writer and director. Jeanette started telling stories and writing them down at the age of 5. She always had a vivid imagination and loved entertaining.

She participated in performing arts throughout her years in school and college. It was in college when her instructor compared her poetry to that of Maya Angelou when she realized that she had an unique gift in writing.

Growing up in the 70's & 80's; it wasn't many people that looked like her that worked behind the scenes in the industry, so she took other career paths that her high school mentors felt made sense to them.

After obtaining three degrees that had nothing to do with her true passion, she decided to cycle back and do what she loved...STORYTELLING & FILM.

She rebranded her 11-year old NPO, in 2020 to Ladies in Film & Television and opened JG STUDIOS COMPANY full time to her clients. Jeanette is an Award Winning Writer, Director & Producer who is taking the indie industry by storm with her talent.
