I'm Buppha Wittaya-Amponpunt from Denmark and I'm a multilingual actress (Thai, Danish, and English), a writer, and a filmmaker who currently resides in London.
I consider myself a very optimistic, enthusiastic, and creative person and I've always been fascinated by films. So in 2004, I decided to attend Copenhagen Technical College (kts) in Copenhagen, Denmark, to study Film & TV Production.
There, I also started to act in my own student films. That's how my interest in acting established and how my acting career began.
My interests in school subjects such as stage combat, psychology, including the places I have been formed my choices of genres, tones, passion for writing, writing styles, and inspirations.
The last 15 years have seen me really immerse myself in my work. I've brought my unique style to some brilliant projects, from commercials to feature films. By now I am addicted to making films, for which there is no known cure, except to make more.
After 15 years in front of the camera as an actress, in 2018 I started making my own films again. I wrote, produced, directed, shot, edited, and played the lead actress as well in my first action/romance short that I made in 2018.
At the moment, I'm in the process of filming my next horror short "Blood Type O," which is based on a true story. I also write, produce, direct, and play the lead actress in it. Hopefully, by the end of July this year 2019 the film will be completed.
Simultaneously, I'm also working on my first feature-length drama screenplay. I have already finished its first draft, which, again, is also based on a true story. I plan to shoot the film in 2020.
