Overall Rating

I'm Michael Wong, the film director of 'The Tattooist', winner of Best Trailer at the recent Brukivka 2019. Can the festival organizer kindly make the necessary arrangements to courier the winner trophy to me? I've contacted the organizer multiple times but no response has been taken. Thank you!

  • BRUKIVKA is an amazing festival with great people in a beautiful town. It was exciting to visit. There is a old castle venue and a cinema, which gives a lot of atmosphere to the event. I think for genre films ist exspecially cool to screen here. Unfornuately a light show started at the last 10 minutes of my film which kind of destoryed the screening - that was sad.

Vibrant, energetic and played host to a decent selection of films. But to put film screening alongside cosplay is a tad ambitious and it makes one lose focus of the original intent of the festival -was it to promote film as critical discourse or raise awareness of cosplay as an emerging subculture in the Ukraine?
