Bailando Culture
Claudia Tiffany Rodriguez, a passionate ballet Folklórico
dancer, embarks on a journey to preserve her cultural
heritage in a world where traditional arts are often
overlooked. Facing limited institutional support at her
university, she travels to one of Texas’s few schools
offering Folklórico as an academic major, seeking
inspiration and guidance to champion the art form.
Through intimate conversations with her family,
professors, and community leaders, Claudia fights to
bridge the gap between her personal passion and the
broader educational landscape. Her story highlights
the resilience of Hispanic traditions and inspires
audiences to consider the importance of cultural
preservation in shaping identity and community.

Hi! I'm Dom Anderson, a filmmaker based in Fort Worth, Texas, with over two decades of experience capturing stories that celebrate resilience, community, and cultural heritage.
What captivates me most about "Bailando Culture" is the journey of Claudia Tiffany Rodriguez, a ballet folklórico dancer who courageously breaks from tradition to forge her own path. Her story resonates with me as it reflects the essence of cultural preservation and transformation. Her graceful ambition honors the legacy of Hispanic culture while inspiring others to embrace their individuality and pursue their dreams unapologetically.
This documentary is not just a tribute to Claudia’s artistry; it’s a celebration of the resilience, strength, and beauty that define Hispanic culture in the heart of Fort Worth. Through Bailando Culture, I aim to bring to light the profound impact of
personal stories in shaping the broader tapestry of a community, showcasing the enduring power of culture and dance.
