Anna is a Cuban-Swedish director and screenwriter originally from Florida whose work focuses on surreal female-driven stories with heart. She's written on numerous shows including FLATBUSH MISDEMEANORS (Showtime), LOOT (AppleTV), HUMAN RESOURCES (Netflix), MO (Netflix), and GURU NATION (Paramount+). Anna received a blind script deal from Hulu after her script INSIDE C*NT was also named to the Blacklist Latinx TV List in 2020. On the filmmaking side, her short films have screened at Outfest, Austin Film Festival, Cleveland Film Festival, LALIFF, and more. Anna also makes comedy shorts as one half of the duo "John Baxter"; their work has been featured in Mashable, Vulture, and more.
