Katrina Rennells and Wendie Weldon are actresses, writers, and directors living in Los Angeles. Katrina, a Los Angeles native, has an extensive resume in theater, as well as having written the short films, The Perfect One and The Printer. She was the 2nd AD for the Los Angeles CineFest winning and LA WebFest nominated web series Slightly Dramatic, and wrote/directed the short film My Best Friend, Daisy, in which Wendie starred.
Wendie was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and moved to Los Angeles three years ago to pursue a career in film. Wendie just wrapped the feature film, Curse of Midnight, in which she starred as the lead, and she is currently producing her own web series, Worst Friends Forever.
This is Katrina and Wendie's first time writing and directing together.
We are huge fans of the horror genre, particularly atmospheric horror. To make the audience feel something, based almost entirely on tone, is an incredibly exciting challenge. Then, further exploring human relationships on top of the scares themselves is the icing on the cake for us, and we're thrilled to continue exploring this idea.
