Director Biography - Alivia Horsley

Alivia Horsley is a writer and story artist from the small, Bay Area town of Belmont, California. She just recently graduated with a B.A. in Animation from Loyola Marymount University. Currently residing in Los Angeles, she has worked in both comics and animation, with her first two comics debuting this year; Visiting, a +40 page solo comic published by ShortBox comics, and a short 5 page piece in the second volume of the Sweaty Palms anthology about mental health and anxiety. Her second year film Dreamweavers won best sophomore level film at LMU’s Film Outside the Frame festival. She plans on making content for kids that she wished she watched when she was growing up, and contributing to the LA animation community as a whole.
