After the storm...

Director Biography - Julio Jaramillo

Julio Jaramillo was born in Mexicali, Baja California, and grew up among the fields of Quico Santana, a small town in the Mexicali Valley. His journey didn’t start in specialized schools or art academies, but in ordinary classrooms where, during high school, he dared to adapt and direct a play. That moment changed everything. Since then, storytelling has become a necessity.
Eventually, he decided to give that passion a solid foundation and earned a degree in Audiovisual Media from the Autonomous University of Baja California, where he refined his vision as a creator.
