Fiction and Documentary style come together to display the process of empowerment and transformation of Victor Hugo, a black gay young men who lives in the suburbs of DF, Brazilian Capital. His story comes along with interviews of other young men, which stories review different forms of resilience, in discourses of valorizing the young black gay men.

Director Biography - Bruno Victor, Marcus Azevedo

Bruno Victor – Audiovisual student at UNB, also works as DOP and screenwriter. His path includes DOP assistant in university short films from 2013 to 2016. Co-wrote and co-directed his first short film, AFRONTE, about the lives of black gay young men from Brasilia’s suburbs.

Marcus Azevedo – Graduated in Geography at UERJ and Audiovisual at UNB, works as a professor in different areas of cinema production. Acted as director and writer in the short film AFRONTE, as sound technician in the short film Lima (2015), DOP assistant in the short film A hora da Morte (2015) and producer of “cine-debate’ with filmmaker Adélia Sampaio (2017). Currently works as a producer of the 1o National Meeting of Black Filmmakers and Producers.
