Most of the students of the Physics and Technology Lyceum live in a dormitory attached to it. The problem that unites many residents of the boarding school is the inability to leave its territory before 3 p.m during weekdays and after 9 p.m on any day. Galina Alexandrovna, the head caregiver*, announces to the group of pupils that she has lost her key, which gives the opportunity to leave the building whenever you want. She hopes that the key will be quickly found and the children, who know the benefits of her key perfectly well, will return it to its owner. However, most of the characters, being already announced to have a prescribed reason to leave the dormitory at inappropriate time, find in this situation a chance to fulfill their desires. That's when the struggle for the key begins.
