Zert Essential (born Kizito Sirajje on February 22, 2000, in Mulago, Kampala, Uganda) is a Ugandan film director, actor, content creator, and digital strategist. He is the founder of Zert Creatives Uganda and is widely recognized as one of the country's most influential digital figures . He is known for merging technology with authentic African storytelling .

Zert holds a degree in Computer Engineering, alongside qualifications in Digital Marketing and Media Management. He trained in film directing at the UK's National Film and Television School (NFTS) and studied acting and directing at the American Film Institute . This rare combination of technical and creative training sets him apart in Uganda's film industry .

His mission is to put Ugandan stories on the global map authentically and professionally. He mentors young creators, supports homeless children in his community, and advocates for a sustainable film ecosystem in Uganda . He believes you do not need permission to start.
