as of November 2021, Jason has completed work on ZMORA and has begun work on his next feature film endeavour with plans to begin principal photography in 2022.
ZMORA is completely different from anything we have created so far.
It is fundamentally a ghost story, the film revolves around an old diary containing the vengeful spirit of Mary Caller, the previous owner of the manor house.
What i mostly enjoyed about directing this project was working with the actors to craft performances and build very clear characters.
From the start of this project we always intended this to be an actor's film. No special effects, no visual tricks, just pure performance.
during rehearsals, the cast collaborated to create this complex and well thought out image of Mary Caller. so much so that when the film begins to reach its climax, and the characters are possessed by Mary, you can almost see the invisible spirit moving from one body to the next.
I am very pleased to present ZMORA and the deeply talented young actors starring in this film.
