Your Poet was a project that we felt compelled to make. It was inspired by a true story of a woman dealing with past trauma and the effects that her outer life had on her inner relationship to the truth. We hope that audiences will question the way that our main character and those around her deal with the past, and ultimately come to an understanding of what it means to come to terms with reality and the lengths we will go to in order to protect ourselves and those we love.
