Director Biography - James Burkhalter

Raised in Pasadena, MD, James Abrib Burkhalter has always dreamed of being a filmmaker. He currently resides in Baltimore, earning his MFA at MICA, with primary interests in Queer narratives and Afrofuturism. Previous credits include a feature-length poetic documentary entitled "There Will Be GLiTTER," as well as several shorts including "Kween For A Day," "Uomo dei Boschi," and "Jen Giambrone is... The Showstopper."
