We are in a suburban area near Rome, Marco, a young boy of twenty, is in his room and is typing the last pages of his new book. He is writing his latest book and is ready to send it to a publishing house. The impatience is unstoppable, so he runs towards the wardrobe to get his shoes, grabs the jacket that is behind the door of his room and heads quickly to the kitchen. Here there will be the mother, Valeria, intent on cooking. Marco quickly arrives greeting her, she tries to ask him if he is going to speak to an employer she recommended him for. In his haste Marco responds by nodding and leaves the house. Upon his return he will have to deal with his mother, who will not be at all happy that her son lied to her. How important is a parent's support? How much can the presence of a mother and father influence our mind and body?

Director Biography - Riccardo Bruni, Filippo Bortolotti

The 1999 directors Riccardo Bruni and Filippo Bortolotti met when they were just born. They took their first steps together, from elementary school to high school. Riccardo studied film and theater acting since 2012, academies and intensive workshops, in 2022 he graduated in "cinema tv and new media" at the "Roma Tre" university. Filippo has always had a nature towards editing and design programs, now he is studying business economics.
In 2023 they set to work to create Cordis Produzioni, until they created their first short film "Giovane Penna". This is just the beginning of a friendship that will never end.

I registi classe 1999 Riccardo Bruni e Filippo Bortolotti si sono conosciuti da appena nati. Hanno mosso i primi passi insieme, dalle scuole elementari al liceo. Riccardo ha studiato recitazione cinematografica e teatrale dal 2012, accademie e laboratori intensivi, nel 2022 si è laureato in "cinema tv e nuovi media" presso l'università "Roma Tre". Filippo ha sempre avuto un'indole verso il montaggio e i programmi di progettazione, ora sta studiando economia aziendale. Nel 2023 si mettono all'opera per creare la Cordis Produzioni, fino a creare il loro primo cortometraggio "Giovane Penna". Questo è solo l'inizio di un'amicizia che non avrà mai fine.
