You'll Be OK Too: Christina's Journey
The documentary follows Christina’s journey over the course of a year, beginning with her initial diagnosis and fears. Also featured are four other breast cancer survivors who share their own personal journeys through treatment and recovery. Viewers will see the emotional ups and downs and resilience of survivors. They all focus on the critical message that there is hope and that most women diagnosed with breast cancer will recover.
“Being diagnosed with breast cancer was the scariest moment of my life. Many women are afraid to be tested in fear of finding out they have breast cancer. ‘You’ll Be OK Too’ provides a real-life story, my story, and that of other women, which shows what it is like to get through treatment. With this documentary, I show everyone my personal and emotional experience. My goal is to provide women with a message of hope when battling breast cancer. Through this, women will see that they can and will thrive and survive after defeating breast cancer,” said Christina Mathieson-Segura, founder of You’ll Be OK Too.
