Co-written with Joe Dreamz, the song is a joyful, affirming anthem celebrating self-expression, self-belief, and voice. It also serves as the theme song for Painting a Brighter Future, an initiative bringing Expressive Arts and social-emotional learning into public schools.

The program expands access to arts education, helping young people explore their creativity while building confidence, connection, and a sense of belonging. You You brings this vision to life through music, movement, and visual storytelling, supporting young people in feeling seen, supported, and connected to themselves and what’s possible.

Director Statement

I create consciousness-raising work across film, visual art, and live experience, guided by a belief in the arts as a force for personal and collective transformation. My practice centers stories that are often unseen, inviting audiences into moments of recognition, empathy, and possibility. I use creative process as both inquiry and bridge, between inner lives and shared social realities. Whether working in documentary, music video, or immersive installation, my goal is the same: to uplift, to illuminate, and to expand how we see ourselves and one another.
